Challenges

Today, standard injection systems are externalized (syringes) and have limitations in terms of precision, versatility of injection volumes and gases, as well as reproducibility, adding an uncertainty factor due to third-party usage.

Innovative solution

Due to its unique design, this system allows for sampling precise volumes of the headspace of any reactor, cell or container of any sort or shape so long as it is inherently hermetical in its design.

How it works

The operation of the system relies on a basic graphic user interface (GUI) comprising an LCD screen through which essential parameters can be set via a graphical menu. The GUI and automation function of the system is built around a programmable micro-controller board carrying out the digital tasks of the processes, such as calculations, changing and storing process parameters and reading pressure, volumes, and temperature, whereas an additional circuit carries out the physical operation of the mechanical and electrical equipment such as sensors or valves.
